We were blessed to be raised by nannies in rural Aotearoa, who loved to write and keep journals. Who told us stories of Hina and our Taiao, about our people’s history as voyagers, strategists, and kaitiaki.

We knew to look into our own traditions and practices for guidance on how to plan, to use what we had, always thinking collectively, with gratitude, to achieve our goals and purpose. Unable to find resources we could use at mahi, and in our kainga that included Te Reo Maori and our own Matauranga we decided to create our own!

Tuhi Stationary was born.
‘Tuhi’ means to write, draw, create.

We  hope you enjoy using what we have created, as much as we have enjoyed developing them!
